PlugStream Sentinel

Third-party charger migration

Move supported OCPP chargers onto a managed PlugStream service.

Already have EV chargers installed? You may not need to replace everything.

PlugStream Sentinel can help assess supported third-party OCPP-compatible charge points and identify whether they can be monitored, migrated or managed through the PlugStream platform.

Assess first. Preserve where practical. Migrate where possible. Replace only where needed.

Migration

Our migration approach

01

Capture site and charger details

02

Check OCPP version and configuration access

03

Review network/SIM/connectivity ownership

04

Identify any load management or payment dependencies

05

Confirm whether remote migration is practical

06

Onboard supported chargers where possible

07

Recommend staged replacement only where needed

Assessment

Information we need to assess your site

You do not need every detail before speaking to us. The more we know up front, the quicker we can confirm whether migration is practical.

  • Organisation and site details
  • Number of sites
  • Number of chargers and sockets
  • Charger make/model
  • Serial number photos
  • Current platform/provider
  • OCPP details if available
  • Current network/SIM setup
  • RFID/user access requirements
  • Load management equipment details
  • Faults, issues or outage details
  • Existing installer/maintenance provider

Compatibility

Compatibility depends on access and hardware

Not every charger can be migrated. Compatibility depends on charger model, firmware, OCPP version, network configuration, access to settings, existing platform lock-in and site-level dependencies such as load management or payment systems.
