Step 1
3D print farm production and enclosure manufacture
Production parts are printed on the Six Watts Ltd 3D print farm in the UK, giving us close control over enclosure quality, output, and manufacturing consistency.
UK Manufacturing
PlugStream products are shaped around real installation needs, durable materials, and a manufacturing process that stays close to the engineering team. Our chargers are manufactured in the UK by our sister company Six Watts Ltd, with production parts printed on its 3D print farm before finishing, inspection, and final release. That keeps quality in the field closely tied to the people building the product.
For larger orders, we can also work with Six Watts Ltd on manufacturing-led customisation where project scale makes it worthwhile.
PlugStream leads the charger platform, product direction, and customer experience. UK manufacturing is delivered by our sister company Six Watts Ltd, giving us a close working relationship between product design, print-farm manufacturing, production, and long-term support.
PlugStream chargers are manufactured in the UK by our sister company, Six Watts Ltd, helping us keep production quality, iteration speed, and product feedback tightly connected.
The production cover material is selected for durability, stability, and a finish that suits indoor and outdoor EV charging environments.
Black, Red, Grey, and Green front covers give installers and customers more freedom to match site aesthetics without changing the platform.
Manufacturing and product decisions are shaped around service access, mounting, cable routing, and the realities of live installation work.
For larger orders, PlugStream and Six Watts Ltd can support manufacturing-led customisation, including finish and presentation options where project volumes justify it.

Process
We design with long-term use in mind, and the UK manufacturing workflow with Six Watts Ltd is intentionally practical: manufacture efficiently on the print farm, validate what matters, then release hardware that installers can trust.
Step 1
Production parts are printed on the Six Watts Ltd 3D print farm in the UK, giving us close control over enclosure quality, output, and manufacturing consistency.
Step 2
Production parts are reviewed for finish quality, durability, and consistency across colour options so the final unit looks deliberate on real homes and commercial sites.
Step 3
Final units are prepared for installer-friendly deployment with checks around fit, function, and the overall quality expected from a British-built product line.

Why It Matters
The decisions made before a charger reaches site affect more than just appearance. They influence fit, servicing, finish quality, installer confidence, and how well the unit holds up over time.
PlugStream production units use PC / ASA-CF for the cover material, balancing appearance, stability, and suitability for the environments where EV chargers actually live.
Black, Red, Grey, and Green front covers help the same core product family feel appropriate across domestic installs, shared parking areas, and commercial settings.
Design, manufacturing, and release decisions are made with installation practicality in mind, not just how the product looks in a render or on a datasheet, and that process stays close to manufacturing through Six Watts Ltd in the UK.
When order volumes are larger, we can discuss custom manufacturing options with Six Watts Ltd to better suit the project, application, or rollout brief.
