Onboard

Supported chargers are onboarded into the PlugStream platform, powered by AmpNexus, with site details, contacts and support preferences recorded.

Monitor

We monitor charger status, sessions, issues and site health based on the Sentinel package selected.

Step 4

Support

Issues are triaged, recorded and moved forward through remote support, customer guidance, installer coordination or replacement planning where needed.

Connectivity

Sentinel can help review charger network setup, SIM ownership, routers and OCPP connectivity paths. Connectivity replacement and ongoing SIM charges are confirmed during assessment.

Scope

Clear scope from the start

Sentinel is a managed support, monitoring and migration service. It does not automatically include electrical repairs, replacement parts, third-party warranty cover, civil works, site attendance, SIM charges unless included in your plan, out-of-hours support, or guaranteed support for locked or unsupported third-party charge points.

Where site attendance is needed, PlugStream can coordinate with your installer, maintenance provider or one of our approved partners.

Do I need PlugStream chargers to use Sentinel?

No. Sentinel can also be used to assess supported third-party OCPP-compatible charging estates. Compatibility depends on the charger model, OCPP access, configuration, network setup and site requirements.

Can Sentinel support EO Charging customers?

Sentinel can help EO Charging customers assess their estate and identify practical support, migration or replacement options. We cannot guarantee that every EO installation can be supported or migrated, but we aim to preserve working hardware where practical.

Does Sentinel include repairs and parts?

No, not by default. Sentinel covers monitoring, remote support and service management based on your package. Electrical repairs, replacement parts, site visits and third-party warranty matters are quoted separately unless covered by a separate agreement.

Can you migrate any OCPP charger?

Not always. Migration depends on charger model, firmware, OCPP version, access to configuration, network control, existing platform lock-in and site-level dependencies such as load management.

Is Sentinel the same as a charger warranty?

No. Sentinel is a managed support and monitoring service. Warranty coverage depends on the hardware manufacturer and any warranty agreement in place.
