Local Charger Participation
Compatible chargers can join the Flow local wireless network for supported monitoring, reporting and control-context features.
PlugStream Flow Link
SKU PS-FLOW-LINK · £59 ex VAT
PlugStream Flow Link prepares a compatible PlugStream charger to communicate locally with PlugStream Flow. Once paired, the charger can share status, exchange supported local data and become part of a Flow-enhanced energy system.

Orderable module
Without a local link, a charger can only act on the information it receives directly from PlugStream Cloud or its own onboard measurement. With PlugStream Flow Link, compatible PlugStream chargers can exchange supported local status, meter and control-context messages with Flow.
| Product role | Links a compatible charge point into a Flow-enhanced energy system. |
|---|---|
| Requires | PlugStream Flow sensing node and a compatible PlugStream charge point. |
| Fit route | Bundled inside Flow kits or ordered separately as an additional or replacement Flow Link. |
| SKU | PS-FLOW-LINK |
| Hardware price | £59 ex VAT |
| Kit relationship | Included in PlugStream Flow 1, 2, 3 and 4-chargepoint kit SKUs for participating chargers. |
| Known constraint | Requires a PlugStream Flow installation; it is not a standalone 4G connectivity product. |
When to specify it
The Flow sensing node builds the local site view. Each participating compatible charger needs its own Flow Link or compatible built-in support so the local network can exchange charger status, energy context and supported control-context events.
Flow local network
Flow Link is the orderable route for bringing a compatible charger into a Flow-enhanced energy system.
Compatible chargers can join the Flow local wireless network for supported monitoring, reporting and control-context features.
Where supported by firmware and software plan, Flow can provide additional local site data that helps improve load-management decisions, reporting and support evidence.
Flow can record charger state, command acknowledgements, wireless link health and control decisions for PlugStream Cloud and Sentinel.
Use Flow Link to prepare compatible existing chargers for Flow participation where supported by the charger hardware and firmware.
Flow Link does not turn the local wireless route into a full charger protocol transport. Local communication uses compact PlugStream messages designed for supported site context, with Flow reporting relevant site and charger events upstream.
Standalone hardware
Flow kits include the Flow Node and the selected Flow Link count. Use these standalone hardware lines for replacements, extensions or designs where CT clamps are specified separately by measurement point.
